Artie grew up in Fairhaven, graduated from Fairhaven High School, attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Southeastern Massachusetts University. Artie worked in all phases of the construction trades before moving into the solar industry in 2010. He worked for various national companies where he honed his knowledge of photovoltaic solar systems and the various associated topics and issues. He recognized that he could fill a significant gap in the industry by providing superior service, installation and continued follow up ensuring enduring efficiency of PV solar systems. On March 3, 2015 Reliable Solar Solutions was born.

In 2020 Artie recruited his old friend and football teammate Ed Roderiques to come on with him at Reliable Solar Solutions as Ed was preparing to retire from a lengthy Army career.

Artie and his wife Anne Marie have been married for 25 years and live in Lakeville, Massachusetts with their five-year-old rat terrier, Buddy.
